3D EASY MOUNT TAXIDERMY
OUR MISSION

Founded in 2007, D&D Taxidermy LLC created the 3D Easy Mount product line with the goal of making taxidermy easier. The Founder of the company is a Master Carpenter who designed and built custom furniture and cabinets for many years. Our goal was to create unique taxidermy products that were not available in the industry. we wanted to design products that were attractive, easy to use and environmentally friendly. To design something with all these features, we had to learn the requirements of mounting a trophy. The Euro or Western Style Skull Mount was a special challenge. We were going to have to get dirty. So we went shopping for a Turkey Fryer, a Pressure Washer and Rain Suits. After a very nasty experience, we learned how to make a skull presentable and clean enough not to smell.

After considering every factor, and a lot of experimenting, we started with a wide 8-3/4 X 15 board for stability. Next, we added a beautiful 3D wildlife carving for appeal, an adjustable platform for support, and a wood dowel to securely mount the skull with only one screw, while keeping the natural presentation. We were then able to develop a process so that no trees would have die. We were not going to be satisfied until we had discovered a way to make it as easy for the customer to assemble our products as it was for us. So we include instructions in the form of a DVD, and a Template for the Turkey Plaque. The features of our Patent Pending & Copyrighted design, have been applied to all our products.
